2012 Prius V low voltage replacement battery registration .

    Would anyone know if the 2012 Prius v low voltage battery requires to be registerd to the vehicle or we could only hook it up and go ?
    I have an Xt00l D9 S Pro and it doesn't seem to allow me to register the batter on the Toyota although it did it for me yesterday on the BMW 3281

    Are you positive ? I thought all the AGM batteries require a registration so they don't get burned with the overcharging process :confused:

    what overcharging process? what exactly do you mean by registration?
    i never registered any of my 3 prius agm batteries, yes i am sure.
