Honda has just announced that the "next generation of Honda hybrid technology" will be revealed next month at the Los Angeles Auto Show, along with a plug-in hybrid platform and a electric vehicle concept. Honda, a long vocal opponent of PHEVs and EVs, appears to finally be changing their tune and hopefully we'll all get a great new IMA system out of the deal.

Danny and Russell are joined by Tony Schaefer and Jason Holder. Danny discusses his mutli-day test of the new Honda CR-Z hybrid, the 2012 Ford Focus, Volt MPG in charge sustain mode, the EPA and E15, Brammo's new Enertia plus and much, much more.

That's right, the Home of the Honda Rant has been provided a Honda CR-Z to test for the next few days. So far I've only had the chance to put about 7 miles on it, but I will give it props for being fun to drive so far in Sport mode. Eco mode is kinda meh, though.
