Pew Poll Finds Strong Public Support for 56 MPG Fuel Economy Standard

A press release from the Pew Environental Group just hit our inbox showing an overwhelming 82% of Americans support an increased fuel efficiency standard of 56 MPG by 2025. The article refers several times to the automakers as being in favor of the 56 MPG standard... so why are they running all of those ads against the standard?

Monday Morning Check-In - Have you had the Prius software update done?

Time to check in with our PriusChat faithful. There is a thread already in the PriusChat forums asking if the software update worked for 2010 Prius owners, but we wanted to know who all has actually had the update done and who hasn't. There is also a faction of PriusChatters who are talking about holding off on the software update until more field reports come in fellow PCers.

Poll: 2 Days Till 2010 Pricing (maybe) - Will you be Happy or Disappointed?

So we may or may not be wrong with our guess that 2010 Prius pricing will be announced Wednesday on Earth Day.  But the real question is, do you expect to be Happy or Disappointed with Toyota's pricing point on the new Prius?
