My Car: 2008 Prius Package: #6 Touring Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 5 | i'm pretty sure its illegal to take a deposit that way, especially since the dealer is really only bankrolling the money kinda like a health club membership. they know most people wont use it. i'd check local laws. what are they giving you for your money. are they guaranteeing you will get a 2010 prius, no. are you guaranteeing you will buy it, no. it is a futile waste of money and they just keep the interest. sorry to deflate your hopes, however if youd like to send me $500 or more i can do the same thing for you. |

You make the deal and it it put in writing and the price is relative to MSRP. I bought my C5 that way. The deal was $3500 under MSRP back in 2000 for a 2001 and it was before the official pricing was announced. Those placing deposits for a 2010, if they get the deal in writing, don't know what they'll pay except that it is based on MSRP plus or minus or at. |
