My Car: 2008 Prius Package: #5 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | I 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th that ....I was at Piercey Toyota yesterday, a huge, new dealer in Milpitas ... I opened the driver's door on a Corolla, Yaris, Highlander, Scion XB, Matrix, Rav4, ....every one of those cars has a driver's seat with the handle to raise and lower the seat bottom ....then the Prius, no matter what model, base, package #6, Touring, whatever, you will not find a shred of any handle to raise and lower the seat....this cannot happen again on the 2010 model. Since the 2009 will be carryover, I don't expect to see a 6-way adjustable driver's seat, but the 2010 .... such a simple thing too ... a simple ratcheting mechanism in the seat to raise it and lower. It's scary why they did not include this simple feature in 5 production years so far on a 2nd generation of the car in the US. It's like they're so darn caught up in the technology, they forgot the very simple aspect of making the car more comfortable for the person it matters to most - the owner and driver of the car. A case of the absent minded professor - solving Astrophysics problems, but forgets to tie shoelaces btw, Priuschat folks, get used to hearing this rant.
