I have a 2006 Prius with Pkg. #6. What are some ideas for the best dashbaord placement, since the adhesive is basically permanent? Thanks for any help. |

My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | Thanks -- The defroster vent doesn't hurt it, right? I sort-of wondered about that position, but thought that, perhaps, defroster air might not be good for it. ( I am not an electronics whiz... ) A friend told me not to put it there ( where you suggested ) due to the potential of the side airbags inflating. That seemed like nonsense, as I care more about my life than my little GPS! Quote:

I have a Garmin c330 coming in the mail along with a "bean bag" type dashboard mount. The mount was $40 at Fry's Electronics and $28 online. This type of mount is legal in CA., will not be permanent fixed to the nice new dash of the prius and user reviews say it does not move around. I especially like the idea of moving the thing from prius to motorhome to wife's car, etc. | |
