Aux wire install is pending, will post an install thread soon. Here are pics of the temporary setup, just to show the location: Flash pic showing unit through cover: ![]() No-flash pic showing lighting through plastic: ![]() With cover open: ![]() |

| Friends: 0 | I had mine there for about the first month of having my Starmate...and I noticed it got smoking hot..alot hotter then what it does outside of there...if you look closely, you are covering up all the top vents and about 90% of the bottom vents..I have since then taken it out... |

My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | Thanks for the post..I too bought a Sirius StarMate and thought about placing it there, but I wanted to use that slot to place keys or the remote for the starmate, so the technician at the local Sirius dealer in Houston(CarToys) mounted it directly to the left of the rearview mirror, so it is up and away from interfering in any controls in the car. When I get a chance, I will post to this website. By the way, is there any way to get better quality of the Sirius beside just having your regular FM modulator connected to it? I heard they do not make it for the Prius.. Craig(Austin TX) <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(SCDrJ @ Jun 20 2006, 12:46 AM) </div> Quote: |
