I just installed a XM Audiovox Xpress radio. Put it on the center console and ran the wires (power and antenna) over the top of the council so they would'nt show. When I put the console back I snapped the 3 plug fasteners on the top back in, but when it came to the round fastener plug on the right side of the console there was nothing on the inside to fasten it to? Any ideas here? It worked out great except if I unplug something from the acc socket I pull the whole console out. It definately need something to anchor it there.
Thanks
Kevin

The mating hole is there. Has to be. Sounds like the plastic parts just aren't lined up right. Get your head down there and make sure that the center plastic is properly aligned with the bottom edge of the dash near the power outlet. Just pushing ithat piece straight on doesn't always get it lined up every time. The plastic clips need to be pushed all the way into position for a start.... I've experienced a similar problem to yours, so I'm assuming you'll be able to straighten it out in short order. The hole is there... really. And if you don't believe me - pull the panel back off and see for yourself.

Good luck!

Thanks,
I took the panel out again and studied it . . . . and with careful alignment it snaped right into place.
