Just got my new Sportster 4 installed at Beach Autosound and thought I'd share some pics. Decided against the factory Sirius unit, as I'd wanted to be able to take my music outside the car also.

I used a proclip (www.proclipusa.com) swivel mount modified to accept the bolt pattern of the docking station. The unit is hardwired and hooked up via relay and switch to the aux input on the factory deck. This way, I still retain usage of the aux connector in the armrest (used for IPOD). A switch was added to switch between the Sirius unit (wired behind the dash) and the AUX input in the armrest.

All in all, another fantastic install by the guys at Beach Autosound in Huntington Beach.

Well, you could have got the Sirius for the car, and a unit to tote around, you know, and then not lost the use/sight line of your buttons there on the side of the MFD...

Although the (2) buttons are out of sight, i'm able to recall from previous usage the placement and assignment of each. I've essentially memorized which button is what, so no real need to see.

My hand/eye coordination allows me to manuever past the docking station and select and press said buttons without reading what they are.
