This is with the DICE, right? It won't display album/artist/song unless it's on D1 and on Title. D2-D4 shows the title and only what that button is controlling (ie D2 shows PLAYLIST). If not you may need to check your connections. Is the iPod playing?
[/b]

==============================================
The Ipod plays and I can hear it on the car speakers. However, I cannot see the album/title/artist when I toggle thru any of the disc 1-6 buttons (even D1). When you say "It won't display album/artist/song unless it's on D1 and on Title" what you you mean by "on Title". The only thing I see is the 1-6 buttons, track and time, and the normal buttons at the bottom of the screen SOUND, ASL, RPT, RAND, and SCAN.

As far as connections go, the DICE came with 2 cables of which one is an adapter, 1 cable goes to the DICE, one on the radio AUX jack and the other 2 cables are not used ( believe one of them is for either SAT radio or CD changer??). Am I connecting something wrong here?

Others have posted that MP3 information doesn't display when the car is in motion (from MP3 CD's, etc)... since the Dice emulates a CD changer, i would think this same limitation would be in effect... do you get information on the MFD when the car is parked and it's playing?

I have a 2005, so I may be giving out wrong information, but it should be the same.

When I want to see the title, I punch the AUDIO button to bring up the screen, then Button #1 (aka D1). Below the 1-6 line of buttons (more under the #1 button) is a button called TITLE. Pressing that removes the 1-6 buttons and replaces that with a box that shows Title of Song, Artist and Album.

If you press D2, you should see the word PLAYLIST and the title of the song. D3 will say ALBUM and the title of the song. In these instructions, you should see a picture of what I'm talking about (in this case the button says TITLE OFF).

It shouldn't be affected by the car's motion.

I'm fairly sure it's AM/FM/CD only. I'm surprised the French version of toyota.ca isn't in sync with the English version.

I believe only the JBL Audio has MP3 capability as well as an AUX input jack.

==============================

This is incorrect. I have a 2006 PKG3 that has MP3 capability and AUX input jack and both work fine.

I should receive them Thursday, which means that most of you should have your DICE out on Friday and many will have them by Saturday.[/b]
So, Danny, how goes it? Did they arrive on time? Will they ship today as planned? Curious minds want to know... :P

Hey all,

Just got our 2007 Prius Touring today. It has the integrated CD changer in the head unit (Nakamichi-style). I'm going to order the DICE and see if it hooks up. Based on the above note from them that beta testing for '07 is done and passed, I'm hopeful that all will be well. I'll post back once I have it installed. If I think of it, I'll take photos of the process and post them for you all to see.

Well, I just got a USPS-Click-N-Ship notice from Danny that my unit will be shipped on Monday. So I guess they were running a bit late, but are on the way out the door now. Yay!
