06 XM 10 Character Limit

I've got a new 2006 base, no nav, no JBL. The car is an 08/06 build.

Had the dealer install XM today. I only display 10 characters of the song info.

I've searched the forum but can't find a definitive answer as to what causes this. I paid good $$$ and would like the 16 characters.

The dealer used the correct part numbers from what I can tell. Receiver: 86180-0X030, Fitkit: PT546-47060

Does anyone have a definitive answer as to why some 2006s display 16 characters while others only display 10?

It might be worth it to double check the part number. Many other posts on Prius Chat quote the part number for the Prius XM Tuner as: 86180-0W030

Please refer to a post from stevehj (06 Package 2) regarding his install: stevehj post. Unfortunately, the picture links are broken. He indicated that he did get the full 16 characters.
