Steering wheel buttons don't light up

My lights on my steering wheel don't work anymore...not that they were actually bright enough to be seen anyway, but I'd like them alive again. They are still perfectly functional so I'm guessing it may be just a fuse.

Any pointers on which fuse to look out for?

Does the panel dimmer change the lighting on the wheel buttons? I can't remember without looking. Try rolling the dimmer wheel to a brighter setting and see if it helps.

The dimmer wheel works, but no signs of life from the lights on the steering wheel.

Speaking of the dimmer switch-- Is the dimmer switch supposed to light up? It seems everything on my dash dims or brightens, but the dimmer switch! <_<

Had the same problem. Dealer replaced the Reostat (sp??) and works fine now

Rheostat? Thanks for the pointer. I'll start searching for prices.

swapped out the fuse all good now
