EDIT: Ok I just figured out how to check the current version and I have a 2006 Prius wth the ver 5.1 NAV DVD. Is there a newer version and if so how can I get it and how much is it? |

I had version 4.2 in my 2005 and I never bothered to upgrade it. While I've seen some updates and improvements in the 6.1 information, it is not perfectly up-to-date. For example, there is a restaurant that has changed names a couple of times over the past few years. The 4.2 had the old name, that closed about 4 years ago. 6.1 has the second name that opened about 2 years ago. The restaurant changed hands almost a year ago, but that information didn't make it into the 6.1 disk.

I'd have to replace my original Coastal NAV enhancement kit to do that. Does it work with the 6.1 version on the 2005? | |
