I tried the volumn speaker blank dance that every one on this site talks about but I can't get it to work. Did Toyota remove this from the current 07. I have the jbl with six disk dvd changer. Is it just for this unit. Has anyone else with the new 07 get this to work. I have tried over and over to make this trick work and nothing. |

It does at least work for making nav orerride work the new 6.1 dvd in the 2005 and earlier Prius. Dave M.

However, some in another thread are looking into trying the LOADING.KWI from a Highlander that has the same resolution system, but HAS the override function. But it may be only one bit/byte like they discovered for 2004/2005 from 5.1 to 6.1.

The md5sum for my 4.2 file is 32c92349f42b873ffed4b17eb1ef2eab and that for the 6.1 is 9faf44973e659cb3b763c5de60f29a84. If someone is looking at the Highlander file(s), I'd be curious about the results for them. Is there a difference in the loading file, or just in the data? They obviously aren't doing an integrity check (at least in terms of checksum) on the LOADING.KWI files. Dave M.

I have no idea about the Cruise Control software. Others on this forum or the other might. Dave M.
