usa spec ipod interface

I was wondering, has anyone ever tried the usa-spec interface for the ipod?

to me it looks exactly like the one that should be available in canada

so I would assume perfect integration/navigation/etc.

That's just a rebranded DI product. They sell to everyone and they market it as their own. It locks out the iPod. It's not very good, that product line's main advantage is that it's one of the last ones that work with alot of older (mid 90's) headunits, but cannot do text display.
