My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 |  Smart Key We just picked up our new Prius last weekend and enjoy it so much we are looking into trading in our other SUV and becoming a 2-Prius family. I've seen some information on not keeping the transponder near a cell phone or similar signal producing item. Does anyone know of any problems with keeping 2 transponders for 2 different Prius on the same key ring? Thanks, Wayne 05 Seaside Pearl #6 |

My Car: 2004 Prius Package: C Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | Nope, shouldn't be any problem at all. The transponders don't interact with eachother at all, and only send a signal when you're close enough to the car for the remote to receive the signal from the car's SE/SS antenna. The remotes don't light-up or otherwise show any activity when they're around a car they're not registered to. Dave |
