The odd part is that for some reason, 2 out of the 3 threads (not counting this thread) in the Aussie forum have been disappeared.

Among the disappeared was the largest thread which, IIRC, was the meet and greet, all-purpose Aussie thread.

BTW, is the GEICO gecko's accent British or Australian?

they climb the walls.
I have seen them around here, even in my own bedroom but they are more common in the east.

But why does he have an english accent?

C'mon, Pat, aren't some things better left for people to discover on their own?

Are you saying the gecko is uniquely Australian? I thought they lived in warm climates all over. The last one I spoke with sounded more Californian than Cockney.

I don't know where else they live, I just know they live here. Just because I haven't seen them anywhere else doesn't mean they don't live anywhere else.

Well they don't live in bloody England then, do they?

I once saw a heap of green frogs in a toilet bowl in Queensland, but I think they live other places too.
