PLUG-IN Hybird option,Jan 13th free talk

There will be a free talk Jan 13th ,Sautrday night 7-8 pm, by author Sherry Boshert about her new book, plug-in hybrids, the cars that will recharge America. It will be help in Scottsdale at 1700 Grainte Reef Road in the new Senior center LEEDS green building.

These vehicles are all based on the Prius since it is the only FULL HYBRID on the market. They get over 100 mpg and can run many miles in all electric. One local company called etec has one made by EnergyCS that they are testing. They also have one by Renault called the Kangoo.

The city of Phoenix signed up as a plug-in partner. This means they have promised to but some of these as soon as they become available. Many cities across the US have signed this pledge.

Car pool and bring your Prius friends. This will be a very interesting time. The building meeting room can hold 200 people.
