Friends: 0 | No response here in a while. I'd like to propose a ad hoc LA area meeting to deal with bluetooth issues. It would be a good chance for a meet, and people could bring their phones and experiment with connecting etc. I have a selfish motive for a meet of this sort, I got my SE T637 working in my car briefly and now it won't. Is it the car? Is it the phone? Who knows. How about Pasadena? Some weekday night, or on the weekend. Just soon, I'd like to sort out my phone problem right away, and I don't want to deal with it at the dealer or the phone store. Besides, I bought my phone at letstalk.com. |

Friends: 0 | Pasadena works well for me, and I've had great success with the SE T608 and hopefully I can help. Next week looks good for me. Any suggestions on where in Pasadena? |

Friends: 0 | Next week is good for me, preferably Monday or Wednesday. I'll leave it to someone who knows Pasadena (let's nail that one down) to pick a place, just post the coordinates! I'd strongly prefer Monday, to start getting concrete about it. I'd be happy if it was just a handful of people with a good mix of phones, say three or four. We have two already. For that matter, just pshady and I works for me. It could be a Dennys for all I care, the important work would be done in the parking lot anyway. Once we get a date and place set, we can go to one of the large groups to attract more participants. Maybe some place in Old Town, we can get a feel for head count and decide on a meeting site at that point. |

Friends: 0 | People who don't have bluetooth phones but are interested in how they work and what is involved with setting one up, and what it is like to have one, would find a bluetooth meet to be very informative. Looks like Monday might be too soon, not enough interest expressed. I figured out my bluetooth problem, by the way. After I set up the jabra headset I was "connected" to the jabra headset, and couldn't connect to the car. This was a problem even after I deleted the jabra from "my devices" on the phone. When I reinstalled jabra I got an error message that made sense to me when I tried to connect to the car, I disconnected from the jabra and was able to connect to the car. Now I call places I "info" just because I can. Now surely some folls out there are interested in getting together and swapping prius stories... |

Friends: 0 | I'm good with Monday night. Wednesday would be a no-go for me. Pasadena is fine with me, I'm down in Silverlake so the 2/134 is pretty convenient, but I have no suggestions for a get-together spot. I don't have bluetooth, nor am I terribly interested in it. But I like my car and enjoy talking to other foks about the bladder peculiarities and driving to increase mileage. |

Friends: 0 | Three would be a quorum for me. How is Silverlake for you, pshady? It actually works better for me than Pasadena. I live in Arlington Heights, the fancy name for the neighborhood near Arllington north of the 10. Is 8 too late? I prefer to avoid rush hour. |

Friends: 0 | How is Silverlake for you? I suggested 8. but maybe earlier would be better. It's dark now, 7:33, don't know if we can meet before dark or not. Googling a bit, Malo looks good. http://losangeles.citysearch.com/customer_...ebsite/38718595 Or Thai? |
