Default Good window tint in SF Valley?

Any recommendations for a good window tinting service in the Sherman Oaks area?
I was quoted $450 by the dealer where I purchased my Prius. I'm hoping for a more reasonable amount with someone who can still do an excellent job (no bubbles, undulations, etc.....)

Thanks

My friend Jon has taken 4 of his new hondas to this place and swears by them (and Jon is a crazy perfectionist )

This is my entry in my Outlook..... Steve

SunShield Glass Tinting
(818) 906-8468
4704 Van Nuys Blvd
Sherman Oaks, CA 91403

You have to make an appointment.
Usually 35-60 minutes.
4 or 5 guys work on your car at once. The will mold and shape the rear window film too.
It will look like the car came that way from the factory.
They are very good!

I had Formula One installed at Sun Dimmers in Van Nuys, can't say enough good things about their work. Ask for Joe, 818.780.8181.

Just wanted to add that I got my rear windows done by Sunshield this weekend based on this thread and they did a fantastic job. Very friendly and professional, only took about 45 minutes and cost $225 even with the upgraded ceramic tint. It would have been $125 with the regular tint. They showed me a demo of the ceramic vs. regular and the ceramic allows MUCH less heat to pass through and lasts longer. Well worth the upgrade in my opinion.

Hi all,

Does anyone know if Sunshield uses the 3M Crystalline product? Is there another as effective?

Thanks!

I just had my 2005 windows done at Sunshine and they were great. I went with the ceramic ones and they have made quite a difference. The cost was $225 with a life time warranty.
