“Pacific Gas & Electric Co., the largest utility in California, did something a tad unusual last month. It added an insert in the bills of its 5.1 million customers, asking them to pressure the world's largest automakers to design hybrid vehicles that can be charged from a 120-volt household outlet.”

PG&E News Release

"Our customers have the power to help make Plug-Ins for the public a reality by simply saying they would consider buying one," said Howard. "We hope they will join us and become a Plug-In Partner."

"Becoming a Plug-In Partner is easy to do. Just go to www.pluginpartners.org and simply sign the online petition asking automakers to make Plug-in Hybrids."

If you think about it, that means more revenue for them if more people use electricity hehe.

Btw, no need to post 10 million times on every single subforum. Just put in the main forum if you want to get the most number of hits.

Yes, and less revenue for oil. The goal would be to make alternative energy profitable. Make it profitable for business, and we will all have many more choices in saving money and the environment.

I am new to PriusChat and navigating through the forums. Only posted 4 times in specific Calif forums plus main, not 10 million times, and not on every single forum. I believe there is a moderator to inform posters of "infractions". But at any rate, appreciated your comment on the actual post, and hope the site and video were of interest.
