As for uses of this forum, I'm not sure ... how about starting with the trivial (favorite car wash? max # of Prii seen in one day?) and take it from there when we see how many folks choose to participate here. P.S. I like Matt & Jeff's Car Wash in Novato. My biggest prius sighting day was 4 in one day ... also, BTW I got a wave last night from "YOU'RE OUT" - gold Prius on Richmond-San Rafael bridge. Usually you all are so nonchalant, so I was happy to get a honk & a wave!

I was nervous the first time I took my Prius there but they didn't even blink an eye. That must be because they are just down the street from Sunnyvale Toyota I have only seen 2 or 3 Prii in a day, but I always try to wave or give a thumbs up. |

My biggies 2004 Prii sighting was 3 cars in the same parking lot. One was mine (Seaside) and there was a Driftwood Pearl and a Super White. This was at the "Village at Corte Madera" shopping center in Corte Madera. |

A few driving up and a few driving back, one was at Hendy Woods itself (a tideland I believe), there was an electric car there at that campsite. If you are on this site let me know. I try to wave at those I see... shona |

I can pull the final grade to the summit at 65 if I want, but the speed limit is 50, so I usually don't. When I get to the bottom on the Los Gatos side, the meter is full of green bars. Something i haven't figured out...I visit my dad in Boulder Creek, and driving from Santa Cruz (0 feet elevation) to Boulder Creek (700 foot elevation) my mpg always has a net gain. Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. |
