Default Best longer life tires for 2002 Prius? Size issues?

Need longer life tires for Gen I 2002 Prius. Right now have 175/65 R14. HydroEdge was recommended for long life but looks like the closest size would be 185/65 R14. would you expect that to work or would you expect rubbing or worse inside the wheel well?

I'm not familiar with the 202 Prius tire sizes. You would get a much better response by posting this in the GenI section or even the GenII section.

I would look into the Goodyear Fuel Max tires or Nokian tires and see if they have your sizes. I ordered my Nokians from BadBoyTires.com. The Goodyear's should be available anywhere.

*edit*

I checked Nokian and they do have the i3 in your size. It is a wonderful tire in my opinion. I have nothing bad to say about it and I've had them on my car (in the larger size) since last summer. I checked Goodyear and they don't have the Fuel Max tires in your size.
