My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | I've had my '05 for just over a week, and last night driving down the country road to my parents and turned into their drive way, I went to switch my lights to just the parking lights as to not light up the whole house, and they didn't come on. No matter what I do, I can't get them to turn on. I went into the diagnostic menu and all I got was 01-D5 190-36-C under EMV. Any help on this would be appreciated, I haven't found anything online. they work when the turn signal is turned on, and hazards... but not when the light selector is switched on.

It's not the side lights, those work. It's the Parking Lights, the amber bulbs above the normal headlights. All other lights work. The 'parking lights' flash with the turn signal properly, so the bulbs are good. I'm curioius if it's a fuse or something else. I don't know of the above posted error code is related, but it wouldn't let me clear it. I've tried it in "Ready" and drive, revers, etc. Thank you for help.

But I did notice the Prius has the brightest turnn signals I think I've ever seen on a car. Anyone know about the above posted error code?

My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | Thanks for all the help with the lights... I guess I was used to my Jeep, which the parking lights illuminated about 3 feet infront of the vehicle, and was great for not blinding ppl in houses and apartments at night. Oh well... Wonder how hard it would be to wire those nice bright turn lights into the 'parking light' switch. |
