My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | Oh, about once in ten times it will resume. In ordinary cars, they only forget the previous setting if you stop and remove the key from the ignition. Since this car has a "smart" key, I never insert it in the first place. No, I do not press the Start/Stop button except in the parking lot. Should I take it in for service? :P |

This is another example of our legal system at work. Toyota makes the cruise control forget its setting if you slow down too much, probably to avoid unexpected acceleration when you re-engage it. It's dumb, but they don't want to get sued. Tom |

Then I move the lever, take my foot off the gas, and watch the speed drop. Other cars, the speed always adjusted to the previous setpoint. |
