Your car will come as pictured in picture #2. IF you remove the plastic wheel trim covers, picture #1 is what is underneath. That is the actual aluminum alloy wheel.

Her car will come with the wheels shown in the 2nd picture, except that the wheels in that picture do not have the trim rings. One does not turn a non-touring into a touring by adding wheel covers. |

![]() Is this what is under the plastic wheel covers? (Still a bit confused) Or is what I'm seeing in picture 2 the new plastic covers? You say if I remove them, I get picture #1 (don't like) but that it will come with picture #2? What is under my husband's 2005 plastic wheel covers? Sorry...I'm just lost with this one. All of the Priuses I see have the plastic wheel covers, unless they are Touring.

Then, every time you approach the car from one side or the other, you can decide if you like the look of the car or not! And if chicks always approach you from the driver's side, you'll know which way works best as a magnet. |

The Touring wheel comes with a plastic wheel cover which completely covers the wheel, *and* underneath that cover the wheel itself is completely different. Post #38 picture #1 shows a Touring wheel with the plastic cover removed and with a tiny shiny hub cap installed which covers only the center of the wheel. If your DH's car has Touring wheels that is what they look like underneath their covers (except his probably don't have the tiny shiny center thingies). Your confusion will be resolved soon. My Car: 2004 Prius Package: #9 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | One of my plastic trim rings has all of its clips broken except two (both on the same side), so the only thing keeping it on is the valve-cap (no joke, it's literally hanging on. oh, my poor baby Prius. 110,000 miles has got a few bits a little ragged). Glad to know I can just pop the things off. |
