Well, you're a whole lot braver than I am. GM just recalled several hundred thousand of their '07 & '08 SUV's for fire / electrical problems. Some wiper / fluid warming thing. With that in mind, you really think they can make a $40K mostly electric car with less electrical problems? I like your faith. Especially on a 'first article from GM'. Don't be too surprised if Toyota's next offering doesn't trump GM's horribly.

By the way, GM's last 'body' on their Volt had the drag coefficiency of a parachute. Anyone heard if they got the drag down a little less? Like maybe that of a Volkswagon Vanagon? Or maybe a brick? Their not toot'n their own horn about it, like they do everything else remotely off the drawing board & Volt-esq. That can't be good, either.
