Friends: 18 | Great looking car! I don't particularly like the front end, but it is distinctively Chevy. Let's see the dollars, delivery dates and performance info. For everyone's sake, I hope this car succeeds. DCCLXXVII Last edited by a priori; 09-16-2008 at 12:23 PM. |

Friends: 37 | I like the futuristic interior (though not the white color of the center console) and dual LCDs...very much like a modern airplane cockpit. The styling visible in the hires photos is nicer than I expected from the early release photos. |

Friends: 1 | Looks quite nice. Hopefully it will not be killed as EV1 was. |

Friends: 1 | Can't wait to buy one! I'm 8,000 something on the gm-volt waiting list, so hopefully GM works with that list a little bit. I can't hold on to my current car forever. |

Friends: 0 | It's interesting to see the sentiment here turning to positive. I think the Volt looks awesome and it's encouraging to see GM being progressive in their design (the interior is bonkers) as well as the technology. |

Friends: 37 | I think you'll find that the sentiment toward GM is still pretty negative...I don't trust them, but remain optimistic that they'll change. There are a vocal few that are very negative about the Volt...but honestly I think it's just people that refuse to forgive GM or to believe that they can change. I'm mostly positive about the Volt. I like the idea, I like that it's another step toward fossil fuel free roads, I like that it's a step toward full EVs. But it's very unlikely I'll ever own one...4 seats won't do for my family of 5 and that's a major disappointment to me. The price has crept up as well, putting it well out of reach for many. The excitement is well founded and I'm a supporter and most definately want the Volt to be a major success. But I'm also a skeptic and a realist and have some lingering doubts about the car's ability to penetrate the market place and GM's commitment to advanced technology.

Friends: 0 | I love my Prius and I will keep it as long as it goes... but I would love a fully electric car. I can't be one of the first for this car, just as I could not be for the Prius. But I sure hope my next car can be a rechargeable electric with the capability (when necessary) of more extended range. I wish you great success Chevy Volt! |

And I saw on autobloggreen.com that they're going to do a trial run on the production line with 40+ cars during the rest of the year to work the kinks out of the production line. | |

Friends: 0 | I'm not encouraged by the 360-mile range they are now shooting for. I'd still want 450 miles or so before even starting to look for gas. Maybe that 2014 Prius is still a go. Ummm, unless THAT tank shrinks... |
