I am looking to buy a Prius before the tax credit ends. I have a dealer who is willing to sell me a 2006 Pkg #4 for $500 below MSRP without his usual $299 dealer Handling Fee. He is also giving me the mats for no additional cost. Is this a good price?

Most dealers here in Denver seem to sell at MSRP unless you negotiate with them.

I live in Colorado so I get a $3285 State tax credit along with the $3150 Federal credit. I really don't need the car this year but thought I should get it before the credits go away.

Thanks!

VERY good price, esp. with those credits. Buy it today before it's gone.

You're getting an EXCELLENT deal---almost $1000 off plus the highest combined credits in the U.S. Store it and break it out NEXT spring.
