Wanted: Good price for Prius w Pck 6 MD, VA, PA area

I'm looking to buy a Silver 2007 Std Prius with option package 6. I live in Southern Maryland. I'm having difficulty getting dealers to email me an out-the-door price, but I'm not giving up. I'm determined to do this over the net.

Best out-the-door offer I've received so far is $27,410. I am hoping to do better, say in the $25,900 range.

Should this be possible in my area?

I'd set aside at least western PA for most of your search. I'm in the middle of a horrible experience with a dealership trying to get a 2007 with package 6 and was told that most dealers in western PA don't stock package 6 because it's not that popular and pretty much unobtainable in this area.

I went to 5 different dealerships, saw multiple prii and saw mostly #2 and #4- nothing above a 4. And this was over a span of several months!

we're talking the leather, navi... ALL the bells and whistles for a grand total of 25,900?

OK.... sorry.... (really... i am.... especially if you mean 25,900 THEN add tax, etc)

do you realize how far below invoice it is to get that car for 25,900? as popular as they are.. it ain't happ'nin!
