My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | Does anyone know a toyota dealer that will sell a Prius @ MSRP in Atlanta, GA? I would like a silver Prius w/ AM (HID, smart key, side airbag) package. The MSRP is about $23k, I think. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Sean cosworth_396(at)yahoo.com |

I'm here in NC and the AM package is not one of the options available in this region. My dealer says they can order one, but I am a little uncertain about that. I know they have them up in VA and I'm currently considering getting one from there. In fact, I hoping to be able to get one just a little below MSRP. Another thing to watch out for in the Southeast region is the like to slap on port options a lot really upping the price of the car with things most usually do not want. Also consider checking around in TN. I've seen a couple on this board that went there from TX to get a car. |

They probably want to make a big profit buy selling two most expensive options. Oh, and the dealerships around here list MSRP for #6 optioned cars @ $28k!!! It's insane! I guess I would be willing to travel to other state to buy the car that I want, but that's such a hassle. |

My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | A local dealership got one in today and my husband stopped to look at it. He said that it was a #5 and was 25,000 which included some $2000 additional tax or something not including sales tax. I think this must be the port tax others talked about??? We are looking at checking out dealerships in virginia. The Alexandria Toyota website claims to have 24! |

It was the weirdest experience ever b/c no one there seemed interested in telling us about this car, infact they didnt really know about it. I asked them questions and they were like "I dont know". It was crazy. They ofcourse were happy to order us a #6 for 26,650. I forgot to ask if this delership also had the crazy additional 2k 'port fee'. We are pretty much decided we will never buy a car in savannah. We will begin looking at VA since we are headed up there in a few weeks for a visit anyway and there are two dealerships who have over 20 listed on their websites! Havent called yet so whether that is the case is still to be seen. -L. Sixt |

They are starting to come down in certain area of the country, but it appears the Gulf States dealers are still raping people. Chap |
