Default Prius @ MSRP in Georgia?

Does anyone know a toyota dealer that will sell a Prius @ MSRP in Atlanta, GA?

I would like a silver Prius w/ AM (HID, smart key, side airbag) package. The MSRP is about $23k, I think.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am wondering the same thing for savannah. I am willing to drive to Atlanta or other surrounding areas if need be. I cant even find one locally to test drive.

Can you even get a AM package in Georgia? I'm here in NC and the AM package is not one of the options available in this region. My dealer says they can order one, but I am a little uncertain about that. I know they have them up in VA and I'm currently considering getting one from there. In fact, I hoping to be able to get one just a little below MSRP.

Another thing to watch out for in the Southeast region is the like to slap on port options a lot really upping the price of the car with things most usually do not want.

Also consider checking around in TN. I've seen a couple on this board that went there from TX to get a car.

Well, it seems like every dealership in GA has either #5 or #6 package. They probably want to make a big profit buy selling two most expensive options.

Oh, and the dealerships around here list MSRP for #6 optioned cars @ $28k!!! It's insane!

I guess I would be willing to travel to other state to buy the car that I want, but that's such a hassle.

A local dealership got one in today and my husband stopped to look at it. He said that it was a #5 and was 25,000 which included some $2000 additional tax or something not including sales tax. I think this must be the port tax others talked about??? We are looking at checking out dealerships in virginia. The Alexandria Toyota website claims to have 24!

Thats what we said. Well then lastnight we went to another dealership so i could see one and test drive it. It was the weirdest experience ever b/c no one there seemed interested in telling us about this car, infact they didnt really know about it. I asked them questions and they were like "I dont know". It was crazy. They ofcourse were happy to order us a #6 for 26,650. I forgot to ask if this delership also had the crazy additional 2k 'port fee'.
We are pretty much decided we will never buy a car in savannah. We will begin looking at VA since we are headed up there in a few weeks for a visit anyway and there are two dealerships who have over 20 listed on their websites! Havent called yet so whether that is the case is still to be seen.

There was a post in the Yahoo group over the weekend that said someone got a Prius for like $300 UNDER MSRP in the Washington DC area, so I wish you the best of luck up there. They are starting to come down in certain area of the country, but it appears the Gulf States dealers are still raping people.

The specific dealership was not named, just that there was a general surplus of Prii in the area.
