Friends: 0 | Sounds promising. Are the algae "fed" anything besides emissions? Are any dangerous chemicals removed from either the bio-deisel and/or green flakes? |

Friends: 0 | Slightly resurrecting this thread, but I had actually been up on the roof of MIT cogen and got a pic of the pilot rig in question just a couple of days before the original post. http://techno-fandom.org/~hobbit/pix/algae.jpg which doesn't capture the gentle bubbling effect up through the tubes. This is currently taking about 1% of the plant's total output, and would need a heckuvalot more land area to handle all of it... . _H* |
