The batteries will store green energy and and be used to cut peak demand for expensive - and greenhouse gas-emitting - electricity."

neat idea and shows that batteries will not only be recycled but can actually be reused. I like PG&E's pro-active approach.

I saw a plug in hybrid driving around Walnut Creek on the 680 the other day. It was painted in PGE blue with big PGE logo's all over it. It said 100mpg plug-in hybrid. Does anyone know anything about that car?
