How about any Repub president has a dem for vice-president and a dem president has a repub for vice-president. Then the idependants can hate everyone and name all kinds of things after both. I'm serious, let both partys into the whitehouse.

That used to be the way it worked, if you didn't know that, all the first elections were pretty much that way. I have no problem with that idea, would actually like to see it started again, and I would love a strong 3rd party, but the current system won't allow that, it would literally take another revolution to change it at this point.

As far as the Sewage Plant goes, it is very fitting for George W. Bush, its the best he deserves, and you mentioned a Strip Joint named after Clinton, actually I'm surprised that hasn't happened, still have no problem with that, and I think Clinton was 100 times a better president than Bush.

I hate politicians that get highways and things named after them, just a pet peeve, but really bad politicians deserve nothing, even naming the sewage plant is more than Bush deserves.

Along with this 3rd party thing. I was listening to Jesse Ventura the other day and he is a very realistic and smart man. He says both partys have let us down and he had some very good ideas and opinions. He may look rather strange, but he is very intelligent. Heck, I voted for Ross Perot once. I wanted some change and I'm sure Ross would have tried. Can you picture a guy from Peoria voting for Ross. I did and so did many others I know from this city.

I liked Ross, would have voted for him, but he didn't have a chance, so I voted for the Best of the Worst, have to do that these days, you never vote for the best candidate, you have to vote for the Best of the Worst. Oh, and I liked and wanted Ron Paul to have a chance for this election, didn't like all his ideas, but liked a lot of them, but even he was shot down.

You're right. It's much better for us to kill, maim and torture them. After all, it's what Jesus would do.

It will get out the vote! But I doubt that it will pass. The voters in San Francisco probably don't want to honor Bush by putting his name on anything as important as sewage treatment. Maybe a few rooms on Alcatraz...

Alcatraz is a very popular tourist attraction and a State Park. Far more valuable than a sewage treatment plant.

Too bad they don't dedicate fire hydrants. I can see the plaque now. Say....about 6 inches from the ground.
