changing CO2 concentrations will affect everything, plants, animals, insects, microbes, bacteria, etc...

its predicted that most of these changes will be unwelcomed by Man.


the problems we have here is that Nature strives to create a balance that we can all live with. unfortunately, our contributions to CO2 is forcing Nature to work OT to keep up. that worked until we decided that rain forrests could be put to better use besides its intended purpose as a weather and atmosphere buffer

I'm sure if the tiny phytoplankton of the oceans or even little chloroplasts could think they likely would agree with you on an individual level but in mass numbers these tiny photosynthetic organelles and organisms have a huge affect on global environmental events. Humans are no different except that they have a will.

Maybe some, but a big portion of the the CO2 taken into a plant is used to make make sugar. Actually, all of it is. I meant 'most of the sugar made' there.

Well most of the sugar is used for the same reason we use it. To burn it as fuel during respiration, which produces CO2 as a waste product.
