enjoying weather reversal between Pacific Northwest and Southern Cali... GCC, AGW, not to blame...it is el nino and the weather was predicted early last summer, so not surprising.

obtw, most likely will become warmest Jan on record...

Thanks for the rainy weather - we needed it down here. Could use some more - still have a severe water shortage!

too bad, we could not give you water without the mud slides. we had a pineapple express go thru here which meant 4 days of 55º and a months worth of rain. we no have no trains going north (due to mudslide taking out the tracks and Hwy 20) or roads going east across the northen Cascades passes

Sheppard's article kinda renders the NOAA/GISS figures moot.

the real question is, how long will it take for the "press" to start doing their jobs and reporting the facts?

I think the press is slowly catching up. All this IPCC stuff and the stuff with Rajendra Pachauri are finding their legs as well. The problem is the media has been shoving this catastrophic global warming garbage down our throats for so long that they'll look like fools when they have to flipflop on it.

All it should take is for one or two big-name reporters to grow a set and just get mad for being had for so many years. Then it will really hit the fan....like the Watergate scandal...only much bigger and with a whole lot more players

If you guys really believe this, I have some "waterfront property" to sell you in FL! It really is astounding that you folks repeat the same stuff over and over again, in thread after thread. It is nearly all obfuscation, twisted context, with the express (if unstated) purpose of planting a small seed of doubt in the larger community. Then they tend that seed of misinformation.

I think after dozens of thread, with thousands of post, many if not most reprinting the same questionable information, illustrated with nice pretty charts and graphs you have made your point. (Such as is is!)

Why don't you do something positive for a change, and use some of your seemingly limitless energy for some public good? Why don't you make some suggestions about what someone might do (or be doing) to make the world a better place rather than spending your energy tearing people down? That is my thought for the day.

Well I guess that since "nobody cares about global warming any more" then it is not important or it proves that it doesn't exist.

If no once cares about AIDs does that mean it doesn't exist? What about a whole multitude of things that "nobody cares about"?

Your statement rivals what was quite possibly the most inane thing you ever said on this forum,, "Even if I am the biggest liar in the world, why don't you believe me when what I am saying is true"? (sic)

It also begs the question, if nobody cares, why do you spend so much energy trying to convice people that it doesn't exist?
