Friends: 10 | http://evworld.com/library/world_ev_review2008.pdf i kinda look at this as the "EV Wishbook" kinda like the old Sears Catalog, in that i usually didnt get what i wanted... but, interesting to see what developers are hoping for. the last one mentioned is interesting. obviously this list was put together at least a few months ago. |

Friends: 2 | The Volt looks like a pretty anemic footnote to that pure EV list. |

Friends: 0 | WTF!!!??? They don't include the Zap Xebra, a car which is available today, and which I drive nearly every day! (Some days I stay home.) Oddly, they include the Zap Alias, a car which is even less likely to ever be built than the Chevy Volt. |

Friends: 8 | I would never drive a Xebra or a Zenn around here. Highway capable speeds are a *must* where I live. Hell, I'd be happy with 70Kph/50Mph. |

Not a *single* EV car that I can buy, and use here in Québec in all road and temperature conditions. Even the FUTURE section looks bleak. Perhaps the Volt (looks very bleak on April 2nd 2009 that it will even *be* produced) or the Mitsubishi iMIEV. Isn't the iMIEV a misnomer? Motor In wheel Electric Vehicle The iMIEV has just one motor doing rear propulsion. Like that'll work well with 13" wheels (smaller?) in snow banks. Disappointed. There's absolutely *nothing* that can replace my Prius, other than the Ford Escape Hybrid (for better snow handling). Last edited by markderail; 04-02-2009 at 04:33 PM. | |
