Um, no ... the public CAN'T lease 'em ... at ANY price. The list closed in record time. There are NO plans for BMW to let the public lease any more than what's already been delivered. Look at the article's date. The $850 is ANOTHER disgusting issue all in itself. Fleet customers get a way better price than the few individuals that got to lease them. That doesn't sound like they really want the public to have them, to me. The other real pisser is, that the Mini Cooper EV yielded big bucks for BMW because our Fed's pony'd up big bucks for manufacturers to bring EV's to 'market'. Then ... the leases will run out. Makes me wonder. EV1 De Ja Vous ??
