Friends: 1 | Here it is . . . and it may not be pretty, but it works! AND it is almost pick-pocket and/or lose proofed! Attachment 11857 Fold a couple of dollar bills in half, wrap over the PRIUS SmartKey, and stretch a regular rubber band around the lot about three times. Done! It is not very pretty, especially after a month or two, but NOTICE . . . the very expensive key is still in your pocket - and so is the couple of bucks that you attached! JohnC :] |

Friends: 0 | Actually, the Gen 2 fobs CAN be reprogrammed by the user. See here: Finally! How to program a non-SKS key/fob. Detailed! However, I'm not sure how to do it for the Gen 1 Prius. Anyone? |
