Hi all

I'm ready to buy a new Prius after my 13 year old Volvo is getting ready to cost lots to get into good shape..
I live in Ft Myers.. so can travel here in FL to purchase. Anyone have anybody or any dealer they would recommend?/ I'd almost rather have a root canal than visit a dealer..

Thanks,

mpt33905

I drove from Orlando Florida to purchase from Deland Toyota. You can read my experience here:

I also found the sales staff at Curtesy Toyota in Orlando pretty friendly. I think I could have also worked out a good deal with them, but at the time I was there they only had one Prius on their lot with a package I didn't really want. Good luck.

Hi mpt33905,

I live in Fort Myers, also. Believe it or not I got my best deal at Fort Myers Toyota. I called up and down the west coast of Fl from Naples to Tampa, and acrross the state to Miami and Fort Lauderdale. I've bought two Prii from FM Toyota. My last salesman was Web Bennighoven and the sales manager was Rob Fontano, both above board guys. You can PM me if you have any other questions.

Good Luck, Jay.

I recommend Earl Stewart Toyota in Palm Beach. No dealer fees/markups on the car

Well,
I talked with USAA, my insurance company who will also negotiate for me. They found a red one] Germain with the pkg I wanted. There was NO negotiating! It was MSRP + $1,495... just because we can.. then there was $600 doc fees..
They were very nice.. who wouldn't be with that profit margin??
My volvo was dying so I bit.

I have a friend that I am sending to Earl Stewart.. hope they do better than I did!

Anyway, I do like the car... enjoying more each time I go to gas pump..
Thanks for everyone's input!
Michele

I for one am getting pretty tired of seeing the Earl Stewart ad on gmail all the time. Especially when "No Mark-Ups, Extra Fees, or Hassle" actually seems to mean "we charge full MSRP."
