This whole mystery about the identity of “Fred” makes me wonder how long it will be before someone takes up “MODERATOR” as their user name and starts issuing “warnings” to fellow PriusChatters . . . . Kind of like the “Fashion Police” who work the crowds at parades and issue fake citations and fix-it tickets.

And we thought the [you] code caused confusion.

I'm pretty sure I got FHOP figured out. That "familiar" writing style hit me as well. That with another strong clue that I won't give away. I'm questioning myself because it's the only person I've PM'd here before, so I could have some bias. So FHOP, did we PM each other last month?

Fred sounds like one of the Jacks to me. Just a guess. I think the New Brunswick location is a red herring.

Time to come clean. It turns out that the username FHOPs was registered by Priapus. That's right. I hate to admit it but because I carpool, Priapus gets lonely. At the last meetup, I had my laptop open to Priuschat right in front of him. He must have seen the URL and, desperate for attention, registered the name.

I confronted him with the issue and he confessed. At first, I thought that perhaps he had read the Priuschat sticker but it turns out that he can't see his own back end.

Sorry for the inconvenience but I'm afraid he has no intentions of going anywhere.
