...you get upset at 45 mpg.

...you have to stop and wonder why your non-SKS car doesn't open automatically when you reach for the door.

...you seem annoyed when you are in a gas powered vehicle and the engine continues to run when you stop.

You assume that everyone knows what SKS, ICE and MFD means.

You give a 5-minute answer when a non-driver asks a simple question about the battery.

You actually start looking for the roads with lower speed limits on it so you can glide as much as possible.

You can feel a non-arrow glide without looking at the MFD, but others look at you blankly when you mention this.

You can't name 3 of your child's teachers, but you do know the real names of the top 10 posters on PC.

You hop in to drive another car, and forget that you must actually take a key out of your pocket, stick it in the ignition, and start the engine to go. :P

  • Your friends, family, and coworkers are darned sick and tired of hearing you moan and complain that rain, wind, tire pressure, A/C, and hills all affect your mileage.
  • Your significant other is CONVINCED you are having an affair with Godiva (or Bill Merchant).
  • You get upset when other hybrid drivers don't wave back.
  • You know by heart the number of miles on your car, the amount of gasoline your car has consumed since you bought it, the lifetime mileage of your car, and your best tank.
  • You park on inclined spots - backed in - so you can glide out with downhill momentum.
  • When you try to convince your significant other that any trip that less than five minutes to drive really should be walked anyway.
  • When you get out of your car five minutes late sweating and limping.
(slow driving, refusing to turn on the A/C, and trying too hard feather the pedal)

You are too weak to move that big gear shift into park, drive, etc.

You forget when you got gas last...
