Foley - Who gets to claim him?

For the last few days, the media has been raking everyone republican over the coals for Foley's Clinton style of leadership and representation.

Now, it seems that Foley wants you to know that he is gay.

Roth added that "Mark Foley wants you to know he is a gay man." - CNN

Are there some gay leaders somewhere we should start bashing? I want them to feel like they are included now that we know their group is foundational to Foley and his lifestyle choices. Certainly the leader of the gays of the world is as much responsible for this as Hasert or the republicans being kicked around about this.

Is there outrage from the gay community to declare that "He doesn't represent our lifestyle"?

Oh don't complicat things, It was Clinton's fault :P

Don't you know everything is Clinton's fault, when Brutis killed Cesar, Yup, Clinton's fault. And Marie Antonete's (sp?) eating cake remark, Clinton told her to say it. And if Clinton wasn't chasing Princess Di, she would still be alive. San Francisco earthquake, Clinton did it. Worst of all, it was Clinton's heavy breathing that started Katrina.

Foley being gay has nothing to do with the current crisis and his stepping down. He's a child predator.

It is my painful duty to report that I, too, received an email from Mark Foley. In the spirit of full disclosure, I enclose it herein

"Hi Jared! I have been following your posts now whenever I get some time from my duties on the child protection committee in the house and I just what to say I think you're hot! Almost as hot as MS. FOX news' Bill O'Lielly show posted during the Foley debacle last night (Tuesday) that Foley is a Democrat.

Sure, Foley is a democrat, a guy in a cave orchestrated 9/11, God is on our side, gun control would not reduce school shootings and giving more trillions to the military/corporate complex will make us safer as it bankrupts the country. I believe it, because I am faith-based.

How is he a child predator? He is attracted to 16-17 year old boys. Surprise, most gay men are attracted to teenage boys. Just like straight men like young girls, men are the same no matter their orientation.

My point is, "pedophilia" and child predator is a label to place on someone who attacks children that are prepubescent. In fact, that is the actual definition of pedophilia. Foley is *not* in the same group as a sexual predator attacking 5 year olds - that deserves the death penalty. Foley is just plain gay and likes young guys.

By the way, the legal age of consent in Florida is 16. So what's the problem?

(I vote Democrat, but this is plain homophobia. I didn't care about Clinton's scandals, and I don't care about this guy. Either kick him out of office or whatever, but lets move on please. However I AM surprised that a gay man would be a Republican...talk about the party of intolerance.)
