You could fly to Guadalajara, then rent a car to Tequila like we did, but wouldn't you rather drive your Prius?

My son loved it. The hay was almost as hard as th seats on the Prius. Why are they so hard, anyway?

Did you consider bringing cushions? I don't think my back could take the bouncing around - I tend to stick to paved surfaces.
