Interesting study...here

If one considers the idea of a "gas guzzler" tax on vehicles a good one, could overweight drivers be next?

I wish it had more details. It talks about people being heavier, 24 lbs or so, compared to 1960, but 1960's cars can't be compared to a modern car. So how much extra gas per mile in say something like a Taurus or an Explorer, or even a Prius, does hauling the extra weight around take?
