No Drunk Toyota Driving?

TOKYO - Toyota Motor Corp. is developing a fail-safe system for cars that detects drunken drivers and automatically shuts the vehicle down if sensors pick up signs of excessive alcohol consumption, a news report said Wednesday.

That's interesting. I wonder what happens if the passengers are drunk and not the driver.

If you're heading down the freeway slugging down a 12pack, does it kill the car at speed in traffic?

Maybe it detects things like weaving, bizarre speed changes, etc.
