Imagine doing that and having to steer! It's what Navy pilots do routinely every time they're catapulted aloft - I think the G forces are probably GREATER in the catapulted jets. Of course, they've got headrests to prevent whiplash (I wonder if that girl's neck is a little sore after that) - but they do more than hang on - they have to keep their jet aimed at the sky while being smashed flat by the sudden G.
