I thought this was pretty cool. The first bit shows Lexus' Advanced Pre-Collision System (A-PCS). It talks about the rear radar (red) and the front radar and camera (blue) in which the computer combines to create an image and detect people and other obstacles.

It's the second one that I'm more interested in. It's Nissan's "SKY Project" which involves placing cameras in high collision areas or just places where there are blind corners. It then communicates with the car and warns the driver is there's a vehicle around the corner
