Does it help your real wages when GM replaces UAW members with lower paid workers? What about your kids and their kids. Tell me what you think. The trade imbalance is $2 billion dollars a day. |

My Car: 2004 Prius Package: Base Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 30 | I understand the implications for the US economy are not good. But, we have every right to choose the vehicle that best fits our needs, and obviously that tends not to be an American vehicle. The cumulative result of all those individual car-buying decisions is reflected in the trade imbalance. How do we solve that? Do we keep people from buying Japanese cars? Cancel Free Trade? Nothing personal, Malorn, but the general perception is that GM does not make the best cars. To be tactful, their fearless leader isn't looking too good in the press, either. |
