Friends: 0 | Justin: I'm back in town and this is the first thread I read. I was concerned about your difficulty breathing (I'm not a doctor and have no idea what's normal after such surgery) but glad to hear it's getting better and that you expect to return to normal eventually. I know two people who function on one lung after having the other removed. Neither is an athlete, but they seem to function normally, so I hope you can return to the lifestyle you enjoy. I'm looking forward to your report after today's checkup. |

Friends: 74 | Hi Daniel, Where did you go? My post-op checkup went well. The x-ray showed I was healing well. The surgeon lookedme over and remarked how about how I was recovering faster than most and that I should be back to normal soon. There were no other signs of cancer so you could say I'm cancer free but everyone knows that may not be true and we will only know after years without a recurrence. Regardless, I am happy to be off chemo for now and even after climbing up one of the hills on a preserve today I felt pretty damned good. Well, after I was done panting and caught my breath. LOL
